Imagine al fresco dining by the sea, early morning yoga with the sound of waves lapping on the beach, and UNESCO listed archaeological sites within easy reach. A Luxury Resort
Recently re-opened following a full renovation, Asimina Suites is a 5-star hotel that blends contemporary elegance with genuine Cypriot hospitality. Designed for guests who seek more than the conventional “sun and sea”, and focused on personalised service, this all-suite complex offers a luxurious base with easy access to Paphos’ cultural and coastal attractions.
The attractive public areas feature a choice of restaurants and bars, including the spectacular St Andrews Rooftop Bar (some amazing sunsets to be seen from here). There are swimming pools and a spa, and on-site activities for those days when you are not out exploring the area.
Spacious Suites
My suite was spacious and comfortable, with a bedroom and bathroom, and a separate seating area. It also had a writing table and a large outside balcony overlooking the resort and the sea. There was a well-stocked mini bar and an espresso machine, and I was impressed by the extra special touches like the fruit and wine that greeted me on arrival.
The hotel has a total of 139 suites, all providing generous space. Most have sea views, and they all include deluxe marble bathrooms, large balconies and air conditioning, ideal for long, leisurely stays. For an extra touch of luxury you could book an Executive Suite with outdoor wooden decks and its own private pool.
Facilities At The Asimina Suites
The resort has numerous leisure facilities. If you want to swim choose between two freshwater swimming pools, the indoor swimming pool, and the sea itself (or just relax by the water in a sun lounger). Then there is a fully equipped gym and a floodlit tennis court, and wellness activities including yoga and aqua aerobics.
When you are in search of relaxation you can unwind in the Elixir Spa. Here you will find a whole range of body treatments, a sauna and steam room, and a hair salon.
Eating And Drinking At The Asimina Suites
The amazing (and abundant) food was one of the highlights of my stay. The hotel has four restaurants, providing a range of traditional Cypriot cuisine and international fare. Romantically situated by the sea, the Kymata Restaurant offers al fresco à la carte meals, accompanied by local musicians. Lavish breakfast buffets are served in the Estia Restaurant, and you can enjoy light meals beside the pool or gastronomy in the indoor À La Carte Restaurant. Room service is also available.
There are also five different bars, catering for different tastes. Visit the St Andrews Rooftop Bar for panoramic views, or the newly refurbished VIP Bar for cocktails and live entertainment.
Making The Most Of Your Stay
From the hotel, the walk along the seafront to Paphos town centre takes around 30 minutes. Here you can indulge in shopping, restaurants and boat trips, or explore the Paphos Archaeological Site, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Further along the coast is a second archaeological area, the Tombs of the Kings.
To explore the region more widely you might choose to rent a car (there is a free parking area in front of the hotel). Alternatively there are several options for guided tours, and the hotel front desk can advise on this.

Asimina Suites is one of four properties in the Constantinou Bros portfolio. The others – the Athena Royal Beach Hotel, Pioneer Beach Hotel and the Athena Beach Hotel – are all recently renovated four‑star deluxe hotels along the Paphos shoreline.
Each offers seafront locations, excellent dining, spas, pools and easy access to Paphos and the archaeological park. All are adult-only resorts apart from the Athena Beach Hotel, which is family friendly.
