Upgrade an article app to get an offline map of places mentioned

If you read this blog regularly you will have started to be familiar with GPSMyCity’s walk and travel article apps for IOS. Now I’ve added a new article – Going Japanese in San Francisco – to the collection, and for the next week you can get the upgraded version FREE.

As a reminder (and for new readers), GPSMyCity produces travel walk apps that use GPS navigation to guide you around your chosen route. And they have expanded their range to include article apps. These are blog articles relevant to their city walks which you can download for free, allowing you to read them offline, perhaps when you are on the plane, or while walking around the city.

You can upgrade the apps for a small fee to get the following benefits

  • An offline map to help you plan your activities
  • Linking the app to GPS so that when you are actually in the city you can get a route to the places mentioned in the article.
