Never mind that it is a very fine Gothic cathedral, the fifth largest cathedral in the world. What makes Milan’s cathedral really special is that you can walk on its roof. And not just a short walk, either: you can walk all around the roof, admiring the 3000 plus marble statues and the soaring spires while taking in the views of the city and beyond (it is said that on a clear day you can see as far as the Alps).Here are some pictures to whet your appetite.
